“This show is a highly regarded U2 tribute performance and it was clear to see why. The high energy and accurate portraying of U2’s music was a crowd pleasing experience. There was a lot of encouragement from the band for the audience to sing along with a lot of U2’s most loved songs. The band kicked off with The Streets Have No Name, and the enthusiastic crowd loved them from the onset. The four piece line-up consists of Michael Cavallaro in the role of lead singer ‘Bono’ along with guitarist Peter Kalamaris (The Edge), bassist David Attard (Adam Clayton) and drummer Craig Jupp (Larry Mullen Jr.). Highlights from the band’s performance included the popular U2 songs With or Without You, Beautiful Day, One, Vertigo, Sunday Bloody Sunday, Pride (In the Name of Love) and I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For. The band played for one hour, took a 30 minute break and then returned for another hour with more U2 favourites. The U2 Show Achtung Baby has toured regularly at venues around Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and the South Pacific. The next tour dates will be in sunny Queensland beginning with Saturday May 13th, 2017 at The Ville Resort and Casino in Townsville. Further dates can be viewed on the band’s website or Twitter page or by contacting management…”
